Charles John Huffam Dickens was famous for being a British novelist, journalist, and illustrator. Some of the well-known works of Sir Charles are Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, Nicholas Nickelby, David Copperfield, A Tale of Two Cities, and Great Expectations. These are some of the most recognized brainchild results of Sir Charles’ brilliant mind. As one of the most influential writers of the late 18th and early 19th century, Sir Charles has always been sought for his depiction of Victorian London and his ideology towards the era.

The British writer has influenced many published works and has edited many magazines that were focused on the social trends of his time. Unfortunately, Sir Charles suffered two devastating events in his life— the death of two family members and the separation from his wife. As a result, Bleak House was created and is credited as his most complicated and complex work to date. The author was reported to have an IQ of around 180. In comparison, Charles Darwin, who was the Father of Evolution, had an IQ of about 165.
