We always have someone we look up to, someone we aspire to be when we grow up. For Kobe Bryant, that was his father, former NBA player Joe Bryant. Even during his high-school years, Kobe was already making waves in the sport and soon became the talk of the town. With his talent in basketball improving through the years, Bryant eventually landed himself a spot in the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers team.
With the skills he showed on the basketball court, it’s no surprise that Kobe Bryant took credit for being one of the sport’s greatest players of all time. Besides the sport, Bryant also earned some fame in the acting business after landing a guest appearance in shows like Moesha, Sister, Sister, and Nickelodeon’s All That. In 2017, he also wrote and narrated for the animated short film Dear Basketball. For his work, Bryant earned an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film and a Sports Emmy Award.
