Aside from co-founding the social media giant, however, Zuckerberg has an investment in solar sail technology through the Breakthrough Starshot project and also serves as one of its board members. His business career is truly inspirational, considering that he created Facebook from his dormitory room.
Today, Facebook has more than a billion users worldwide, making Zuckerberg the fourth richest person in the world as of January this year, with a net worth of over $90 billion. Mark is also the only person under 40 years old in Forbes’ list of the 20 richest people. He also ranked 10th on Forbes’ list of The World’s Most Powerful People. The most interesting part about him is that he signed the “The Giving Pledge” along with Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, which promised to donate to charity at least half of their wealth over the course of time.
