Born as Chaim Witz, Gene Klein or professionally known as Gene Simmons, is an American TV personality, actor, author, and musician. He is the co-lead singer and the bassist of Kiss, the rock band he co-founded with rhythm guitarist and lead singer Paul Stanley back in the early ’70s. It might be unseemly for someone who dresses up in a ridiculous costume and wears face paint for a living to acquire an above-average IQ of 117.
Although the Kiss frontman looks like this, most people wouldn’t even consider calling him silly at all, with their amazing music and all. He earned his degree in education at Sullivan County Community College, which is really impressive for a rock star. Simmons is also an honorary member of a national non-profit organization that works to revitalize and restore music education in U.S. public schools called the Little Kids Rock.
